Mike Dr Blue
Mike 'Dr Blue' Mckeon is an international, award winning musician, singer, songwriter, poet and composer, happy working and or collaborating in many different performing worlds including comedy, theatre and spoken word. His first love, and the genre he grew up playing in, was Folk. His first professional engagements 50 years ago, were playing during the dinner breaks at the local Irish Cub in north London where he grew up! He has toured the world performing his own songs playing stages as varied as the Theatre and Poetry stages at Glastonbury Festival (UK), Adelaide and Perth Fringe Festivals (Aus) and more recently one of the headliners at the 50th Anniversary Canterbury Folk Festival. This is his second time performing at the Dunedin Folk club, and he is looking forward playing a mix of old and new material.
