March Committee News

Tuesday 26th March 2024

Hi everyone,

If you were at the Club on Sunday you would have seen our new sign at the gate – doesn’t it look fantastic? Huge thanks to our artist Keri who proves that her talents extend far beyond feeding our festival goers and making delicious cakes for our café! Also thanks to Gordon who spent a morning putting the sign in place. You may also have noticed improvements to our stage lighting as we continue to make small adjustments. Thanks to Sam for working away on that project.

Look out for many great concerts coming up in the next few months including many opportunities for Club members to perform at various themed nights like our Comedy Night on 21 April, NZ Music Come All Ye on 5 May and Vive La France on Bastille Day, 14 July. If you feel you’d like to contribute in some way e.g. doing a floor spot on a Sunday, or helping out in one of our teams, please let us know. Remember that the Club is a warm and inviting space for both performers and audience so make sure to keep coming along as the nights get longer and colder – we’ll have the heaters on soon to welcome you in!
