Why Folk - members' free concert

As the major event for members of our whole weekend of celebrations, we are running a concert from the afternoon through the evening with a break for dinner. Each act will do two numbers with talk about "why folk music". That may mean why they are attracted to folk music, why they wanted to join a folk club, why they think of themself as a folk musician or whatever take they may have on it. Audience can come and go – no need to stay for the whole event.

This marathon concert event will start at 3.30pm with a break from 6pm to 7.30pm for dinner. Featuring (in no particular order)

Sunday afternoon 3.30PM
Angus, Monica and Geoff, Jean Barkman, Anne Tacon, Sue Harkness, Iain Mitchell, Richard Dingwall, Sarah and Bernadette, Steve Barkman, Jam (Haki et al), Take Two, Brendan Christie, Bridget Ellis, Carole and Gordon, Phil Corfield and Carole, Tony Kiesanowski, Sue Galvin
DINNER BREAK 6PM - 7.30PM

Please note: Unfortunately the club is not large enough to host all our members for this event so, much against our will, we have had to restrict numbers for the dinner. Everyone is welcome to come to the concerts but if you don't have an invitation to the dinner there is a 1.5hr break where you can go off site and grab something to eat and come back to enjoy the rest of the concert.
Sun night 7.30PM
The Grumpy Scotsmen, Mike Dillon, Erin Morton, Read and Kay, Martin Curtis, Terry Ebeling, Denis Gordon, Hyram, Blue Sea Above, Lara Rose, Fiddlesticks Duo
